Creative Visionary and Fearless Leader

As a born-and-raised New Yorker with a passion for travel, I thrive in environments that celebrate innovation and forward-thinking design. With 8+ years of experience, I’ve led the artistic direction for diverse brands, creating captivating websites, apps, graphics, and immersive interactive experiences that not only grab attention but resonate deeply with audiences. I’ve collaborated with industry-leading companies like Business Insider, eMarketer, Tory Burch, Publicis Sapient, and Fox News Media, as well as worked closely with startup founders to bring their visions to life. From shaping brand identities to refining user experiences, I transform concepts into market-ready realities.

Beyond my design career, I’ve embraced ventures that reflect my creative spirit. In 2024, I had my first modeling opportunity with White Claw, starring in their new non-alcoholic campaign. In 2019, I launched an Airbnb Experience photography tour around New York, where I curated personalized tours showcasing hidden gems and iconic landmarks, capturing unforgettable moments for clients from around the globe.

Outside of work, you can find me playing in a women’s golf league, exploring the latest art exhibits, cheering on Formula 1, experimenting with DIY nail art, painting, or planning my next adventure. My diverse experiences fuel my creativity, allowing me to bring a fresh perspective to every project I take on.

My Story — Where I Started

Growing up in the vibrant, creative heart of New York City, I’ve been immersed in art and design my entire life. From taking art classes in SoHo to fashion design classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in middle school, my childhood was a blend of cultural richness and artistic discovery. Since I was a kid, my dream was to become a fashion designer and painter when I grow up. My roots in fine arts instilled in me the belief that anything can be expressed through a brushstroke or a pencil line.

My artistic foundation began at LaGuardia Arts High School (aka the “Fame” school), located in Upper West Side Manhattan where many famous actors and artists graduated from, including Timothee Chalamet, Jennifer Aniston, Nicki Minaj, Awkwafina, Milton Glaser (created I ♥ NY logo), Robert Di Niro, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Al Pacino, Issac Mizrahi, and more. This unique experience shaped me profoundly, from attending advanced fine arts classes to completing homework assignments that sent me to museums like The Met. As a student, I learned to balance tradition and innovation, drawing inspiration from art history while dreaming of ways to modernize it. My high school experience was very unconventional, students actually sang and danced in the hallways and instead of a football field, we had Central Park two blocks away. Although I didn’t get the normal suburban high school experience, I wouldn’t trade my experience because LaGuardia is where my creativity flourished and New York became my playground.

In my first 3 years at LaGuardia, I took primarily fine arts classes and it wasn’t until my senior year I took my first digital art class  and discovered the limitless possibilities of graphic design. Learning Adobe Creative Suite opened doors to new ways of storytelling and connection, blending my love for fine arts with the functional beauty of design. I quickly realized that design isn’t just about visuals—it’s about creating experiences, evoking emotions, and building meaningful connections. After LaGuardia, I attended Syracuse University, where my curriculum blended technology, design and photography.

Today, my work as an art director and designer is a reflection of this journey. My foundation in fine arts and my lifelong fascination with art history inform everything I create. I see design as a bridge between art and commerce—where art evokes emotion and design drives action. Whether I’m crafting brand identities, leading creative campaigns, or exploring new forms of design, my approach is deeply rooted in storytelling and connection.

I find inspiration in travel, hobbies, and my everyday experiences. As a car enthusiast, I learned that Kai Langer, the head of design of BMW i (EV) started his career as a graphic designer in media and now designs BMWs— an example that graphic design is a gateway to endless possibilities. As I continue to grow as a creative, I’m excited to explore new frontiers and see where my career goes.

Testimonials

Alex Honeysett

Founder of Human at the Helm

Allison is an exceptionally talented designer. I sat on my old website for a year because I didn’t know how to articulate what I wanted to create. Allison took my thoughts and built a brand aesthetic and website that showcases the true soul of the business. In addition to her beautiful designs, she’s a joy to work with. I can’t recommend her enough!”

Meticulous yet flexible. Those are two words to describe Allison's professional style. She's open to ideas while giving me her own professional input.

Her designs absolutely suit me, even more than I thought they would. This is because she is careful to ask the right questions that guide her client to what they think that they might want. I will definitely be entrusting Allison for my design needs in the future, and look forward to working with her on other projects.
